Guild Hall Dilemma

Here’s “Guild Hall Dilemma” which is really ancient. It was originally written with “Man After You” in 1975/6 in 5 Jackson Street, East Geduld (Springs – next to Impala Platinum) before my folks went to Rio de Janeiro for 5 years. Radio Rats were formed in August 1977. Niall Bell and Dave and I recorded a version of this in 1995 in Orkney (“Leave in the Dead of Night”) because I couldn’t remember all of the original. Well, thanks to Dave Marks of 3rd Ear Music, here’s all of the original. Another wonderful stroke of luck really (for it to survive)…it would be great to do a version with Leonard drumming.

“It’s so simple – just turn your back and leave her
So simple – just bite your lip and try
So simple, just smile and disbelieve her
So simple – just leave in the dead of night…”
